LU-CIX invites you to a unique and free PeeringDB training session given by Mr. Arnold NIPPER, Chief Technology Evangelist @ DE-CIX, and member of the “Outreach Committee” and "Product Committee” of PeeringDB.
PeeringDB facilitates the interconnection of Internet networks globally, with user-maintained information. It is the single place to look up network information related to peering and interconnection.
PeeringDB helps answer questions like: Which networks share a facility with me? Who is connected to a certain Internet Exchange? I have lots of traffic with that AS, where could I create an interconnection with that network?
This Workshop will explain the basics, walk you through creating your entries, looking up data, and generally show the usefulness of PeeringDB.
It is open to professionals of all levels, whether you have worked with PeeringDB before, or you are a complete novice.
